From sketchpad to cherished keepsakes
My artistic journey began long ago, evolving from Art & Design studies to the dynamic world of 3D animation. Yet, the call to traditional drawing always resonated deeply. Daily sketches naturally gravitated towards the imaginative realm of illustration, igniting a true passion for creating charming characters and scenes that delight children and adults alike. This is how OrenOko was born, a fusion of learned skills and heartfelt artistry, creating lovely children's illustrations and turning them into prints, tote bags, and other items.

My lifelong love affair with children's books is the enduring wellspring of OrenOko's unique charm. I often revisit childhood favourites, drawing inspiration from the timeless magic woven by beloved children's illustrators. This deep connection fuels my creative process, ensuring every piece from OrenOko carries a spark of that beloved enchantment. Excitingly, I'm currently developing a new portfolio for children's book illustration, with stories already penned and ready to be brought to life, both my own and, hopefully, for other authors.
